 Cazes Canon du Maréchal rosé
A rosé that is crisp and has the aromas and tastes of red fruits. This vintage is great for those spring and summer evenings with friends or with light meals.
It is made from a blend of 40% Syrah, 40% Merlot, 20% Grenache grapes on the Cazes clay and limestone soil.
The grapes are machine picked during the night because of the heat during the day. They are then left to macerate with the skins on for several hours before pressing. The alcohol level is 12.5% alc/vol.
The wine is bottled within 6 months of the harvest, and stored in air-conditioned cellars.
Best drunk young (within 3-4 years) at 12°C.
This is is also available in 5 litre wine boxes - see list
