Gaudry AOC Sancerre Vieilles Vignes 2006

This is just fantastic! It's crisp, dry with tones of passion fruits, flinty with a pale golden colour and a great finish.

Made from Sauvignon grapes harvested from vines that are over 50 years old, the wine is thermo-regulated and is also an unfiltered wine matured "sur lie" for 8 to 10 months before bottling in line with the lunar calendar.

Chill to about 10°-12° and serve with great fish dishes (including fish and chips!) Open for an hour or two before drinking for best results.
