Bousquette St Chinian AOC 2004
.gif) .gif) This is a well balanced red with a garnet colour, a plummy bouquet and great nutty flavours.
It is made from a blend of 4 grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan. It is aged in both wood and steel vats for balance.
Grape harvesting is done almost entirely by hand. The stems are removed and the vinification (wine-making)is carried out using traditional methods with careful control of the temperature.
These methods stimulate the wines to evolve and refine their unique Saint-Chinian characteristics and taste. The wines are carefully bottled to assure high quality from the vine to the table
Serve with red meats and game at room temperature.
