This is a fantastic easy drinking wine, with velvety fruity aromas and big red fruit tastes. A versatile wine with smooth tannins, ideal for drinking before, during or after a meal.
It is made from 50% syrah and 50% merlot grown on clay and limestone in the foothills of the Corbières mountains.
The grapes are vinified separately using different methods. After pressing, the fermentation process is completed at 20°C, followed by the final, malolactic fermentation. The alcohol level is 12.5% alc/vol.
This wine is bottled within 6 months of the harvest, and stored in air-conditioned cellars. It is best drunk at a temperature of around 14°C.
