This is a corker. A complex wine with aromas of red fruits and spices which burst out in the taste. It has great silky tannins and a good long-lasting finish.
Made from a mixture of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, this wine is fermented at a high temperature (28°C) and has a high flavour content because it is turned regularly during the maceration process. It is matured for a year in barrels before being bottled. This wine was made during the Domaine's conversion to biodynamic practices.
It has an alcohol content of 13.5%
Drink now for instant pleasure or keep it up to 10 years or so. It can accompany red meats or meals with strong flavours. Open early and serve at 18°C.
