Domaine de la Sauveuse
The production of wines – rosés, reds and whites – has always had an important place in Provence. A latin inscription uncovered in the grounds confirms that the estate participated in the establishment of this wine culture in Roman times. The “Sauveuse” (saviour) is the name of the spring (from the lower Alps) which feeds the estate.
The Sauveuse of José Salinas, the owner and manager of the estate, can be summed up by this sentence: “The soil is a living environment, one has to nourish the soil to nourish the plant”.
We feature a selection of luscious wines from the estate that have been scored highly by Robert Parker and that are very affordable....
